Tried and Loved: Tree Hut Shea Sugar Body Scrub

We all know exfoliation is key in keeping skin smooth and healthy looking. I've tried a few body scrubs before, but have always been turned off by the oily film they leave behind on my skin. Don't even get me started on how slippery it makes your bathtub. Safety hazard, anyone? However, this scrub does a great job of getting skin smooth without the oily feeling (or slick bathtub).

I looked this product up on Tree Hut's website and found this description of the ingredients:

"This gentle sugar scrub is infused with certified organic Shea butter, Brazil nut oil and an array of natural oils including Evening Primrose, sweet Almond, Avocado, Safflower Seed, Macadamia Seed and Orange oil." (taken from treehutshea.com)

Their website also states that their sugar scrubs are free of parabens, and formaldehyde donors. Donors?? Not sure what a formaldehyde donor is. Additionally, Tree Hut does not test on animals, just in case you were wondering.

I bought the Brazilian Nut scent, and it smells like a mixture of chocolate and caramel. Oh, and are you ready for the best part?? It's cheap! I found mine while perusing the bath and body aisle at Wal-Mart for about $5.00. I've seen the Tree Hut line at Ulta as well. Tree Hut also makes body butters and body washes, but I have not tried any of those.

So, have you tried anything from this company? Is there a body scrub you can't live without in another line? Let me know!

Well this is embarrassing...

Shame on me. I was all excited about my new blog, and three posts in, I quit updating. I don't really have a good explanation for the lapse in posts other than life just...happened. Not that you were missing much, as there are a ton of amazing blogs out there. However, someone whose opinion I greatly value encouraged me to get back into it. And you know what? I think I will! See you soon!
